Profiles of Saudi Islamic Militants Killed in Iraq: 2004-2005

A new report is now available for download from Globalterroralert.com profiling some of the numerous foreign fighters from Saudi Arabia who have been recently killed during combat operations in central and northern Iraq, including many suicide bombers from Al-Qaida's Jihad Committee in Mesopotamia.  Conversely, at least one Saudi national who survived a combat tour with Al-Qaida in Iraq was later reported killed during subsequent battles with American troops on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

*UPDATE*
: Number 36 on the new list of most wanted Saudi Al-Qaida suspects, Faris Abdullah Salim al-Zaheri al-Harbi (a 22-year-old Saudi from Qaseem), has been confirmed as reported dead in a December 2004 suicide bombing attack in central Iraq.  According to the Saudis, al-Zaheri was "known to have been involved in domestic incidents" and was last "presumed to be... outside the Kingdom."
